Accurascale has released a new OO gauge model of a British Railways Mark 2B Tourist Second Open (TSO) coach, No. M5478, in West Coast Railway maroon livery. The model is part of the company's range of highly detailed rolling stock.

The model features a highly detailed interior, including characteristic 'winged' headrests and separate metal interior handrails. The exterior boasts extremely fine rivet detail on the roof and coach ends, as well as separately-applied etched metal and high-fidelity plastic parts.

The coach's bogies are accurate representations of the B4 and B5 types, with provision for re-gauging to EM or P4 gauges. The model is fitted with NEM standard coupling sockets and mini tension lock couplers, and can be easily converted to Kadee-compatible knuckle couplers.

The model is equipped with a full lighting package, including magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting and directional lighting with DC or DCC control. It is also compatible with all wheels for power pickup.

The Accurascale Mark 2B TSO coach is built to a scale of 1:76.2 and has a length of 269mm. It is recommended for use on curves with a minimum radius of 2nd radius set-track, which is equivalent to 438mm.

The model is a highly detailed representation of a coach built by BREL at their Litchurch Lane Works in Derby between 1969 and 1975.
