Accurascale has released a new OO gauge model of a British Railways Mark 2B FK Corridor First Coach in blue and grey livery, numbered 13511.

This model is part of a series of coaches that have been overlooked in 4mm scale until now. The real-life coaches were built at Litchurch Lane, Derby, between 1963 and 1975, with 111 vehicles produced in three different designs.

The model features highly detailed exterior and interior details, including fine rivet work and separately applied etched metal and plastic parts. The underframe is fully detailed with numerous separate parts and pipe runs, and the bogies are accurately represented with provision for re-gauging to EM or P4 gauges.

The model also features a lighting package, including magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting and directional lighting with DC or DCC control. The coach is designed to be easy to convert to Kadee-compatible knuckle couplers.

The model is suitable for use on 2nd radius curves and has a length of 269mm. It is designed to be used with 16.5mm track and features a NEM standard coupling socket with a mini tension lock coupler.
