Joining a model railway club is an ideal way of pursuing your hobby in a sociable environment where you can learn new skills and get inolved in group projects. A lot of us only have room for a small layout at home, but joining a club offers the opportunity to work on a variety of larger club projects, where you can put your skills to use alongside the contributions of others.

Whether you enjoy building scenery, or constructing kits, or weathering ready-to-run models, or making the electrics work, or just operating the layout and making the trains go, being part of a club gives you the chance to enjoy doing what you do best. And the social environment of a club is somewhere you can relax in the company of like-minded enthusiasts.
Find your nearest model railway club by browsing our extensive database of local clubs and societies.
The Railway Models UK directory of clubs and societies is derived primarily from our own database of event organisers, but where possible we have attempted to cross-reference this with other publicly available information.
We're working on the ability for you to add and update club information via an online form. But in the meantime, if you want us to change any of the information published here please get in touch using our contact details.
