Accurascale has released a new OO gauge model of a Mark 2B SK coach in blue and grey livery, number 19486. This coach is part of the Mark 2B series, which was built by British Rail Engineering Limited at Litchurch Lane Works, Derby, between 1963 and 1975. The model features a highly detailed exterior with rivet detail on the roof and coach ends, and a fully detailed underframe with numerous separate parts.

The coach has a length of 269mm and a minimum radius requirement of 438mm. It is designed for use on 16.5mm track and features blackened RP25.110 profile wheel-sets with 14.4mm back-to-back measurements. The model comes with a coupling that meets NEM standards and is compatible with P4 and EM gauges.

The interior of the coach features characteristic 'winged' headrests, separate metal interior handrails, and a fully detailed guard's compartment. The model also includes a full lighting package, including magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting and directional lighting with DC or DCC control. The coach is also equipped with a 'stay-alive' capacitor to prevent lighting failures.

The model is part of Accurascale's range of rolling stock, which aims to fill gaps in the market for high-quality models of British Rail vehicles.
