The Accurascale 9021 “Argyll and Sutherland Highlander” is a 1:76.2 (OO scale) model of a British Rail Class 55 Deltic diesel locomotive, presented in the original BR blue livery with a pristine finish. It carries the running number 9021 and represents the period 1961‑1962 when the class was built by English Electric at the Vulcan Foundry; only 22 examples were produced for British Rail.

The model features a die‑cast alloy chassis, all‑wheel drive and power pickup, and a five‑pole motor with twin flywheels housed in a metal helical gearbox. It is DCC ready with a 21‑pin MTX socket and includes a PowerPack capacitor for uninterrupted operation. The locomotive can achieve a scale top speed of 120 mph (193 km/h) and runs on 2nd‑radius set‑track with a minimum curve of 438 mm.

Detailing includes directional and interior lighting, fully modelled cab windows, windscreens, wipers, sandbox hatches, battery‑compartment louvres and a high‑intensity headlamp (where applicable). The coupling is a correct‑height mini‑tension‑lock with NEM socket, and the model is supplied with RP25‑110 OO wheels (convertible to P4 or EM gauge), etched metal and plastic parts, and, on sound‑fitted examples, dual speakers with large capsules.
