Accurascale D9013 “The Black Watch” is a 1:76.2 (OO) scale model of a British Railways Class 55 (Deltic) diesel locomotive, built to represent the late‑crest period of 1961‑62. The locomotive is finished in a two‑tone green livery with a pristine condition, bears the running number D9013, and carries the name “The Black Watch”.

The chassis is die‑cast alloy with a five‑pole motor and twin flywheels, coupled to a metal helical gear box. It is all‑wheel drive with power pickup on every wheel and features a 21‑pin MTX DCC socket (DCC ready) and a PowerPack capacitor for uninterrupted operation. Gearing allows a scale top speed of 120 mph (193 km/h).

Detailing includes fabricated bogies, correctly positioned horn, headcode panel, windscreen wipers, sandbox hatches and cab side windows, as well as separate etched metal and high‑fidelity plastic parts such as grab handles, nameplates and crests. Lighting is fully fitted with directional, interior, marker and engine‑bay lamps, with selectable DC/DCC operation and automatic cab lighting off when the locomotive moves.

The model uses RP25‑110 OO wheels (re‑gaugeable to P4 and EM), mini‑tension‑lock couplers with NEM socket, fully sprung metal buffers and extra‑fine factory‑fitted pipework. Minimum curvature is a 438 mm (2nd‑radius) set‑track, suitable for most standard layouts. Manufacturer part number is ACC2163D9013.
