Accurascale D9007 “Pinza” is a 1:76.2 (OO) scale model of a British Railways Class 55 Deltic diesel locomotive, built to represent the late‑crest period (BR green livery, no yellow nose panels). The locomotive carries the running number D9007, bears the name Pinza and features the original headcode, two windscreen wipers per pane, steam‑heat train heating, and a buffer‑beam‑mounted horn. Detail parts such as grab‑handles, steps, nameplates, crests and sandbox hatches are supplied as etched metal and high‑fidelity plastic components.

The model includes a five‑pole motor with twin flywheels, a metal helical gearbox and all‑wheel drive, enabling a scale top speed of 120 mph. It is DCC ready, with a factory‑fitted 21‑pin MTX socket, DCC sound and two large speakers, and a PowerPack capacitor for uninterrupted power. Lighting is fully detailed, offering directional headlights, cab and engine‑bay illumination, and separate marker lights that can be switched off when coupled to a locomotive.

Technical specifications include a die‑cast alloy chassis, correct‑height mini‑tension‑lock couplers with NEM socket, RP25‑110 OO wheels (re‑gaugeable to P4 and EM), a minimum curve radius of 438 mm (second‑radius set‑track), and fully sprung metal buffers. The locomotive is supplied in pristine condition, with the manufacturer part number ACC2157D9007DCC and a maximum speed of 100 mph when operated on real track.
