Accurascale D9014 is a 1:76.2 (OO scale) model of the British Railways Class 55 “Deltic” locomotive, named The Duke of Wellington’s Regiment. The kit is presented in a two‑tone green livery with wrap‑around yellow nose panels and is supplied in pristine condition.

The locomotive features a die‑cast alloy chassis, a five‑pole motor with twin flywheels, a metal helical gearbox and all‑wheel drive. It is DCC sound fitted with a 21‑pin MTX socket, includes a PowerPack capacitor for uninterrupted power and can reach a scale top speed of 120 mph (193 km/h). The model is equipped with correct height mini‑tension‑lock couplers with NEM sockets, fully sprung metal buffers and RP25‑110 OO wheels, which can be re‑gauged to P4 or EM gauge.

Lighting is fully detailed, offering directional and interior illumination, marker lights, a high‑intensity headlight where applicable, and separate cab lighting that switches off on movement. Sound‑fitted versions carry two quality speakers with large sound capsules.

The model represents a locomotive built by British Railways in 1961‑1962, one of 22 produced, and is suitable for the British Railways Late Crest era. Minimum curve radius is 438 mm (2nd radius set‑track).
