Accurascale 55011 is a 1:76.2 (OO gauge) model of the British Rail Class 55 “Deltic” locomotive named The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers. The locomotive is presented in a pristine blue livery with the British Rail TOPS period detailing and the name and number (55011) correctly applied. It represents a unit built between 1961 and 1962, one of the twenty‑two produced for British Rail, and is capable of a scale top speed of 120 mph (193 km/h).

The model features a die‑cast alloy metal chassis, a five‑pole motor with twin flywheels and a metal helical gearbox for high‑performance traction and smooth slow‑speed running. It is supplied DCC sound fitted with a 21‑pin MTX socket, a PowerPack capacitor for uninterrupted power, and two quality speakers with large sound capsules. The locomotive includes correctly positioned horns, sandbox hatches, battery compartment louvres, windscreen wipers (one per pane) and cast bogies.

All wheel drive and all wheel pickup are provided, together with a fully detailed lighting pack: directional lighting, marker lights, a separate high‑intensity headlight where applicable, cab interior lighting and engine‑bay illumination, all switchable between DC and DCC. The model is fitted with correct mini‑tension‑lock couplers with NEM sockets, a fully detailed buffer beam, RP25‑110 OO wheels (re‑gaugeable to P4 and EM gauge) and fully sprung metal buffers. Minimum curve radius is 438 mm (2nd radius set‑track).
