Accurascale D9012 Crepello is a highly detailed OO‑scale (1:76.2) model of a British Rail Class 55 Deltic locomotive, finished in pristine blue livery with the original running number D9012 and name Crepello. The model represents the locomotive as it appeared in the British Rail Blue (TOPS) period and is built to the specifications of the original 1961‑1962 production, of which 22 were made.

The chassis is die‑cast alloy with a five‑pole motor, twin flywheels and a metal helical gearbox, allowing a scale top speed of 120 mph. It is supplied DCC ready with a 21‑pin MTX socket and, on sound‑fitted examples, two quality speakers and a PowerPack capacitor for uninterrupted power. The locomotive rides on RP25‑110 OO wheels, with provision for re‑gauging to P4 or EM gauges, and features fully sprung metal buffers.

Lighting is comprehensive, with directional headlamps, marker lights, cab and engine‑bay illumination, and separate controls for DCC and DC operation. Detailed fittings include twin windscreen wipers per pane, sand‑box hatches, battery compartment louvres, upper central lamp iron, cast bogies, correct height mini‑tension‑lock couplers with NEM socket, and a fully detailed buffer beam. Additional etched metal and high‑fidelity plastic parts such as grab handles, steps, nameplates and crests enhance the realism.

The model is suitable for a minimum radius curve of 438 mm (second radius set‑track) and carries the manufacturer part number ACC2162D9012DCC. It is a faithful replica for collectors and railway enthusiasts wishing to operate a British Rail diesel locomotive in a layout.
