Manufacturer description

7774 was the last of the 5700 panniers built by the North British Locomotive Company. The locomotive, works number 24062, was completed March 1931 and sent to Aberbeeg Shed. It would remain a South Wales engine for its entire working life, except for trips to Swindon for works visits. It would enjoy stays at Newport Pill, Tredegar (86H), Aberbeeg (86K) and Ebbw Junction (86A) before final withdrawal in November 1959
