Rapido SER/SECR 5‑Plank 10‑ton open wagon – SR Post‑’36 Brown No. 13313 is a 1:76 scale (OO gauge) model of a South Eastern Railway / South Eastern and Chatham Railway open wagon. The manufacturer part number is 824025 and the model represents the era of the “Big Four” – LNER, LMS, GWR and SR.

The original wagons were built between 1897 and 1901 to address a rapid increase in freight traffic on the South Eastern Railway. Around 1 250 open wagons were constructed, split between Diagram 1340 (5‑Plank Open Goods) and Diagram 1341 (5‑Plank Open Coal). They were 15 ft 5 in long with a 9 ft 4 in wheelbase. The main visual difference was the end shape: Diagram 1340 had rounded ends, while Diagram 1341 featured low‑D‑shaped ends and a Williams Pattern sheet rail.

Builders included Ashbury Railway Carriage and Iron Co, Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Co, Oldbury Railway Carriage and Wagon Co and the railway’s own Ashford Works, with some subcontracting making precise production numbers uncertain. Many examples were later converted to square ends in 1912, and both diagrams were used for goods and coal traffic throughout their service lives.

The Southern Railway inherited most of the wagons after the 1923 grouping; the last D 1340 was withdrawn in 1942 and the final D 1341 in 1948. The model reproduces split‑spoke wheels with metal bearings, detailed floor‑line work, high‑quality livery, and NEM coupler pockets. It is intended for use on 00 gauge layouts.
