Rapido SER/SECR 5‑plank 10‑ton open wagon – SR Pre‑’36 Brown No. 13261 is a 1:76 (OO gauge) model of a late‑19th‑century British railway wagon. The item is supplied by Rapido and carries the manufacturer part number 824021. It represents a pre‑grouping (pre‑1923) vehicle used by the South Eastern Railway (SER) and later the South Eastern and Chatham Railway (SECR).

The wagons were introduced to meet a sharp rise in freight traffic in the final decade of the 1800s. Approximately 1 250 open wagons were built between 1897 and 1901, split between two similar diagrams: D1340 (5‑plank open goods) and D1341 (5‑plank open coal). Builders included Ashbury Railway Carriage and Iron Co, Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Co, Oldbury Railway Carriage and Wagon Co and the railway’s own Ashford Works. Both types were 15 ft 5 in long with a 9 ft 4 in wheelbase; D1341 featured low‑D‑shaped ends and a Williams pattern sheet rail, whereas D1340 had rounded ends.

The model reproduces the SR Pre‑’36 brown livery with a high‑quality finish, split‑spoke wheels in metal bearings, detailed floor‑line work, NEM coupler pockets and the correct livery application. The wagons remained in service after the 1923 grouping, with the last D1340 withdrawn in 1942 and the final D1341 in 1948. Running numbers are not recorded, as most had entered departmental stock by the time of withdrawal.
