Manufacturer description

Nearing the end of class 66 orders, production was shifted to Muncie in the USA. This change carried with it some subtle differences that we can see on this model. Named ‘Severn Valley Railway’ in 2016, it can be seen here with the current day ‘europorte’ branding removed.

Our Class 66 model is based on the award winning ‘accura-standard’ platform, with all-wheel powered six-axle bogies, a powerful twin flywheel fitted motor and market leading electronics package.

The Accurascale Class 66 GBRF Blue/Orange 66763 Diesel Locomotive is a highly detailed OO scale model of the popular Class 66 locomotive. This model is based on the award-winning 'Accura-standard' platform and features all-wheel powered six-axle bogies, a powerful twin flywheel motor, and a market-leading electronics package.

The model is built to a scale of 1:76.2 and has a minimum radius curve of 438mm, making it suitable for use on 2nd radius track. The model features a die-cast metal chassis, RP25-110 profile OO wheels, and separately applied etched metal and plastic detail parts, including grab handles, steps, wipers, and more.
