Accurascale's Class 66 model represents the DRS locomotive No.66421 in OO scale. The model features DCC sound, directional lighting, and a stay-alive power pack. It is designed to represent the initial privatisation period, with the locomotive wearing a DRS livery.

The model arrives in OO scale, with a minimum radius requirement of 438mm for the track. The chassis is made from die-cast metal, and the wheels are of the RP25-110 profile. Additional details include etched metal and plastic parts, such as grab handles, steps, and wipers. The model also features a scale width wire handrail, full underframe tank detail, and fully sprung buffers.

The model is DCC ready and features a powerpack capacitor for uninterrupted power. It also includes a customised dual-speaker technology system, which provides a high-quality sound experience. The model's lighting pack includes directional lighting, switchable red and white marker lights, and separately switched cab lighting.

The locomotive was originally numbered 66250 and was part of the EWS "Red Revolution". It was acquired by GBRF in 2017 and renumbered 66789, before being unveiled in a special livery to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the formation of British Railways.
