Accurascale's OO scale model of the Class 37/0 locomotive is a highly detailed representation of the British Rail Sectorisation era. The model features a Railfreight Metals triple grey livery and is fitted with DCC sound. The locomotive is based on the 37051, a locomotive that operated in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The model features a range of period-specific details, including a split headcode nose, Scottish 'car style' headlight, and original nose grilles. The locomotive also includes a cutaway bufferbeam cowling with oval buffers and a steam heat bufferbeam configuration. The model features a highly detailed interior, including a cab interior and a range of other details.

The model is built to a high standard, with a heavy die-cast metal chassis and accurate tumbleholme, nose, cab roof, and cantrail curves. The model is also DCC ready, with a 21-pin socket and a PowerPack/Backup Power Capacitor Bank for up to ten seconds of power free running.

The DCC sound version of the model features a LokSound 5 chip, with customised dual-speaker technology and a large EM2 style bass speaker. The model also features a high-performance traction system, with a five-pole motor, two flywheels, and a metal helical gearbox.

The model's lighting system is also highly detailed, with directional lighting, fully functional headlights, and engine bay lighting. The model also features a switchable red tail light and separately switched cab lighting. The model is supplied with OO gauge wheels, but provision is made for re-gauging to P4 and EM gauge. The minimum radius for the model is 438mm, making it suitable for use on second radius track.
