Accurascale 37026 “Shapfell” is a 1:76.2 (OO gauge) model of a British Rail Class 37/0 locomotive, liveried in Railfreight Distribution triple‑grey. The model represents the early 1990s period of British Rail sectorisation and carries the manufacturer part number ACC230537026.

The locomotive is built on a heavy die‑cast metal chassis and its nose, cab roof, cantrail and tumbleholme curves are reproduced from 3D laser scans. It includes a range of period‑specific details such as split headcode boxes, Scottish “car style” headlight, original nose grilles, cut‑away bufferbeam cowling, steam heat pipework, and fabricated bogies. Optional miniature snowploughs are provided, and the model can be fitted with a variety of interchangeable body and nose slides to represent different members of the class.

The model is supplied DCC ready with a 21‑pin MTX socket, or as a factory‑fitted ESU LokSound V5 version. Both versions include a PowerPack backup capacitor bank for up to ten seconds of power‑free running, flicker‑free lighting and continuous sound. The sound package features dual speakers – a large bass speaker and a smaller high‑frequency unit – and a customised DCC chip.

Performance features include a five‑pole motor with two flywheels, a metal helical gearbox and gearing designed to achieve a scale top speed of 100 mph (160 km/h). The locomotive has all‑wheel drive and pickup, RP25‑110 profile OO wheels (with optional re‑gauging to EM or P4), fully functional directional lighting, headlight and engine‑bay illumination, WIPAC light clusters, switchable cab and tail lights, and a fully detailed bufferbeam with screw couplings and correct height mini‑tension‑lock couplers.
