Accurascale Class 37/0 locomotive 37026, named “Shapfell”, is an OO‑scale (1:76.2) model of the British Rail Class 37/0 diesel used by Railfreight Distribution. The model is supplied with ESU LokSound V5 DCC sound and a 21‑pin MTX socket, making it DCC‑ready straight from the box.

The model measures 245 mm in length, features a Co‑Co wheel arrangement and all‑wheel power pickup, and can negotiate a minimum curve radius of 438 mm (second‑radius set‑track). It rides on RP25‑110 profile metal wheels, supplied in OO gauge with optional fine‑scale EM (18.2 mm) and P4 (18.83 mm) re‑gauging kits. The chassis is a heavy die‑cast metal construction with a five‑pole motor, metal helical gearbox and all‑wheel drive, allowing a scale top speed of 100 mph (160 km/h). A PowerPack super‑capacitor provides up to ten seconds of power‑free running and flicker‑free lighting.

The locomotive is finished in the Railfreight Distribution triple‑grey livery and includes directional and interior lighting, a fully functional Scottish “car‑style” headlight, split‑headcode nose with plated headcode boxes, original nose grilles, cut‑away buffer‑beam cowling with oval buffers and steam‑heat pipework, original windscreens and cab layout, and a fabricated bogie set. Optional miniature snowploughs are also supplied.

Sound and lighting are supplied by a customised dual‑speaker system (large EM2‑style bass speaker together with a smaller high‑frequency unit) and a complete lighting pack that controls headlights, engine‑bay illumination, WIPAC clusters, cab lights and red tail lights. The model includes the appropriate NEM couplings with mini‑tension‑lock sockets and detailed etched metal and plastic fittings such as nameplates, crests, grab handles and roof‑mounted horns.
