The Dapol Large Prairie 2-6-2 Tank Locomotive is a model of a Great Western Railway locomotive. It is based on the 5101 class of large prairie locomotives, which were built between 1929 and 1939. The model is of the 6100 series and features a green livery.

The locomotive is DCC fitted and has a diecast chassis with a five pole motor driving the rear wheel. The centre driving wheels are sprung, and the front pony truck is also sprung, allowing the model to navigate R2 curves with ease. Electrical pick-up is provided on all driving and tender wheels.

The model features a number of details, including a tall safety valve cover, short safety valve cover, bunker lamp bracket shield, smoke box top mounted lamp bracket, and smoke box door mounted lamp bracket. It also includes a smoke box number plate for the BR period.

The model is available in a pristine finish and has a length of 164mm, a width of 34mm, and a height of 48mm. It is designed for use on OO gauge track and has a minimum radius curve of R2. The model is suitable for use in the Big Four era, which includes the GWR, LNER, LMS, and SR.

A sound fitted option is available, which uses the UK Steam Sound Decoder by Soundtraxx and requires a speaker. The model is DCC fitted and can be powered using 2 rail DCC.
