Dapol 7‑Plank Wagon, 9 ft wheelbase – Richard White livery

The model measures 74 mm long, 33 mm wide and 35 mm high and is presented in a pristine finish. It carries the livery of Richard White and Sons and bears the manufacturer part number 4F‑072‑007. The wagon is suitable for OO gauge track and uses NEM or tension‑lock couplings. It can negotiate a minimum curve of radius 1.

The 7‑Plank design, common before the 1923 RCH standardisation, features an internally braced wooden body, a shorter 9 ft wheelbase compared with later standard wagons, no end doors and a loading capacity of ten tons. The model represents the era of the Big Four railway companies – LNER, LMS, GWR and SR.

Built by a variety of companies, the Dapol 7‑Plank Wagon reflects the diversity of wagon construction that existed while standardisation was gradually adopted across the network.
