The Dapol 7 Plank Wagon Buckley Junction is an OO gauge model presented in a weathered finish and fitted with NEM/Tension‑lock couplings. It carries the Buckley Junction livery, has a minimum curve radius of 1 R, and is supplied under manufacturer part number 4F‑071‑149. The model represents the era of the Big Four railway companies (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR). It is assembled from components produced by various companies.

The 7‑plank wagon was the standard coal wagon in Britain until the 1930s, when steel mineral wagons began to replace it. In 1923 the Railway Clearing House issued a standard plan for the wagon, although many non‑standard examples continued in service. Dapol offers two variants: an internally braced version with a 9‑foot chassis, no end doors and a 10‑ton capacity, and the RCH standard version with a 10‑foot chassis and a 12‑ton capacity. Both models feature highly detailed body moulding, a realistic load, profiled wheels, NEM pockets with self‑centering couplings and accurately applied Buckley Junction livery.
