Accurascale has released a OO gauge model of the Great Western Railway's Manor Class 4-6-0 steam locomotive, No. 7801, in GWR green livery. The model is part of the Accurascale range and is designed to replicate the early years of the real locomotive, built between 1938 and 1950 and numbered 30 in total.

The model features a range of details, including fully sprung metal buffers, factory-installed pipework, and high fidelity dummy screw couplings. The locomotive also has early tapered, tapered or straight buffer housings where applicable, as well as an optional overhead warning plate bracket on late-BR examples.

The model is designed to be DCC ready, with a 21-pin MTC socket in the tender. Alternatively, it can be purchased with a factory-installed DCC sound option, which includes a speaker mounted in the smokebox and dual speakers in the tender. The DCC sound model also features a powerPack capacitor bank for uninterrupted power and sound, as well as a flickering firebox light synchronised with the sound on DCC installed models.

In terms of traction, the model has a very high-quality 3-pole motor with a flywheel, low starting voltage, and smooth power delivery. The locomotive also features metal helical gear box for maximum performance and slow speed running, with gearing arranged to achieve a scale top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h). The model has OO gauge wheels with an RP25-110 profile and a minimum radius curve of 438mm (2nd Radius Set-track).
