Accurascale has released a model of the BR Green (Early Crest) Manor Class 4-6-0 steam locomotive, No. 7810, which is named Draycott Manor. The model is designed to represent the locomotive as it would have appeared during the period of the Big Four (LNER, LMS, GWR and SR).

The model features a number of details, including fully sprung metal buffers, factory-installed pipework, and high fidelity dummy screw couplings. The buffer housings are accurately modelled, with early tapered, tapered or straight buffer housings available depending on the specific era being represented.

The locomotive is DCC sound fitted, with a very high-quality 3-pole motor and flywheel providing a smooth and realistic driving experience. The model is also DCC ready, with a 21-pin MTC socket in the tender for easy installation of a decoder. The DCC sound version features a speaker mounted in the smokebox and dual speakers in the tender, providing an immersive experience.

The model has a number of traction features, including a die-cast metal chassis, running plate and body with a sprung centre driving axle. The metal helical gearbox provides maximum performance and slow speed running, with gearing arranged to allow the locomotive to reach a scale top speed of 90 mph. The model is fitted with RP25-110 profile OO gauge wheels.

The model is available in OO gauge, with a length of 245mm and a minimum radius of curve of 438mm (2nd Radius). The model is built to a high finish, with a pristine finish and accurate representation of the locomotive's early emblem. The model is also available with a choice of lift out sections, including an empty coal bunker or a simulated coal load.
