Accurascale has released a OO gauge model of the Great Western Railway's 7800 'Manor' class steam locomotive, specifically No. 7818 'Granville Manor'. The model is a faithful representation of a locomotive built between 1938 and 1950, with a total of 30 produced.

The model features a DCC sound system, with a choice of installation options. The locomotive has a 3-pole motor with a flywheel for smooth power delivery, and a powerPack capacitor bank to ensure uninterrupted power and sound. The model also features a flickering firebox light, synchronised with sound on DCC installed models.

The locomotive's traction features include a die-cast metal chassis, running plate, and body, with a sprung centre driving axle. The metal helical gearbox allows for maximum performance and slow speed running, and the gearing is arranged to enable the locomotive to reach a scale top speed of 90 mph. The model uses OO gauge wheels with an RP25-110 profile.

The model is finished in GWR green livery, with a pristine finish and fully sprung metal buffers, factory-installed pipework, and high fidelity dummy screw couplings. The NEM coupler mounts on the tender are at the correct height, with mini-tension-lock couplers. The locomotive has a minimum radius curve of 2nd radius, or 438mm, and is suitable for use with NEM couplers.
