Dapol OO Dinmore Manor 7820 is a 4 mm scale (OO gauge) model of the Great Western Railway 7800 “Manor” class locomotive, bearing the number 7820 and named Dinmore Manor. The model is finished in a pristine lined black livery with the early British Railways emblem and is supplied with a DCC Ready Next‑18 socket. It measures 130 mm in length, rides on a die‑cast compensated chassis and couples using a NEM close‑coupling push‑fit system.

Key technical features include a slide‑in printed circuit board that allows tool‑free installation of a NEXT‑18 decoder and a solder‑free speaker connection, with the board accessing the locomotive through the smoke‑box door. Electrical pickup is provided on all driving and tender wheels, and the tender‑to‑locomotive drawbar incorporates conductive connections moulded within the coupling. An optional base‑reflex speaker can be fitted in the tender, and the model offers firebox glow synchronised with sound, a high‑torque motor and Dapol’s RealDrive system for enhanced control. The front pony truck is sprung and operates on a cam, enabling smooth negotiation of R2 curves.

The prototype locomotive was built at Swindon in November 1950 to a design by Charles Collett, entered service with British Railways and was withdrawn in November 1965 after fifteen years. A total of thirty examples of the class were produced. The Dapol model carries the manufacturer part number 4S‑001‑008 and represents the British Railways Early Crest period.
