Containing three wagons, numbered:

• B312337
• B312865
• B312969

• Bauxite, TOPS livery
• 1/120 pattern
• OLEO Buffers
• Roller Bearing Axle-boxes
• Introduced in 1961
• 3,950 wagons built to this pattern
• Additional Flap Doors on sides, which MDO did not carry
• Remained in service until 1992
  
• Ran in block rakes, and mixed with other coal wagons such as 16t minerals (MCO), 21t hoppers (HTV), 24.5t minerals (MEO), etc.

Accurascale has produced a OO gauge model of the British Rail 21T Coal 21VB / MDV Mineral Wagon. The model comes in a triple pack, featuring three wagons with individual running numbers. The livery is in bauxite, a colour used by British Rail in the period represented by this model, which is the British Rail Blue era.

Each wagon in the pack has a unique running number: B312337, B312865, and B312969. The wagons feature NEM couplers and tension lock couplers, allowing for easy connection to other models. The wheels are metal, with a 12.6mm diameter, and are designed for use on minimum radius curves of 1.

The model features a range of details, including OLEO buffers, roller bearing axle-boxes, and fine factory-fitted detail parts. The wheels are fitted with RP25.88 darkened profile sets, and the axles are designed to be convertible to P4 and EM gauges. The wagons are designed to be authentic, with individual lettering and codes taken from real wagons.
