Accurascale BR 21T Wagon COAL21/MDO (Grey) is a 4‑wheel, OO‑scale model of the British Railways 21‑ton coal wagon, built to represent the post‑TOPS period when the wagons were painted in BR grey.

The model features a minimum curve radius of 1, NEM standard coupling pockets with narrow tension‑lock couplers, spindle buffers, oil‑filled axle boxes and metal 3‑hole disc wheels on metal axles. The wheels have a back‑to‑back distance of 14.85 mm and over‑pin distance of 26 mm (RP25.88 profile). Individual wagon numbers and lettering are replicated from the real fleet for authenticity.

Accurascale supplies the wagons in packs of five, each pack containing three individually numbered wagons, totalling fifteen wagons per box. The parts are supplied as a darkened 1/107 profile set ready for conversion to P4 or EM gauges. Extra fine factory‑fitted plastic detail parts and sprung buffers are included.

The prototype wagons were introduced in 1950, with 1 500 units built to this pattern. They remained in service with British Rail until 1988, operating in block rakes and mixed with other coal wagons such as the 16‑ton MCO, 21‑ton HTO and 24.5‑ton HUO. The model’s manufacturer part number is ACC‑MDO‑BNDLE.
