Accurascale has released a pack of three OO gauge mineral wagons in British Rail grey TOPS livery. The wagons are modelled on the BR 21T coal wagons built in the 1950s. Each wagon is numbered B201284, B201322, and B201394, and features NEM standard coupler pockets and narrow tension lock couplers.

The models are finished in a pristine state, with individual lettering and codes applied for authenticity. The wagons have a 4-wheel wheel arrangement and are designed for use in OO gauge layouts. The manufacturer has included metal 3-hole disc wagon wheels on metal axles, and RP25.88 darkened profile sets with 14.85mm back-to-backs and 26mm over pinpoint.

The wagons are designed to be easy to convert to P4 and EM gauges, and feature extra fine factory-fitted detail plastic parts and sprung buffers. The models are suitable for use in British Rail Blue (TOPS) period layouts from the 1950s to 1988, and can be used in block rakes or mixed with other coal wagons.

The wagons are built to a common 1/107 pattern and feature two doors on either side of the body and another at one end for end-tipping. A total of 1,500 wagons were built to this pattern, and the models are a faithful representation of the real thing.
