Three wagon multi-pack

Containing three wagons, numbered:

• B313014

• Bauxite, Pre-TOPS livery
• 1/120 pattern
• OLEO Buffers
• Roller Bearing Axle-boxes
• Introduced in 1961
• 3,950 wagons built to this pattern
• Additional Flap Doors on sides, which MDO did not carry
• Remained in service until 1992
  
• Ran in block rakes, and mixed with other coal wagons such as 16t minerals (MCO), 21t hoppers (HTV), 24.5t minerals (MEO), etc.

Accurascale has released a British Railways 21 Ton Coal 21VB / MDV wagon triple pack in OO gauge. The pack includes three wagons, each with its own unique running number and bauxite livery.

The wagons are finished in pristine condition, with NEM standard coupler pockets and narrow tension lock couplers. They feature RP25.88 darkened profile wheel sets and metal 3-hole disc wagon wheels on metal axles. The wagons are designed for easy conversion to P4 and EM gauges.

The 21VB wagons were introduced in 1961 and were built to a total of 3,950 units. They remained in service until 1992, often running in block rakes alongside other coal wagons. Each wagon in the pack features extra fine detail plastic parts and sprung buffers, as well as individual lettering and codes for authenticity.

The pack is suitable for layouts depicting the British Railways era, specifically during the late crest period. The wagons can be used to recreate scenes of coal transportation and storage, and can be paired with other coal wagons such as 16t minerals, 21t hoppers, and 24.5t minerals.
