Accurascale has released a new model of the BR 21T Coal/MDO Mineral Wagon in the Grey pre-TOPS livery. The model comes in a triple pack, featuring three wagons with individual running numbers: B201059, B201110, and B201473.

Each wagon is equipped with NEM standard coupler pockets and features a narrow tension lock coupler. The wheels are designed with a darkened profile and have a back-to-back width of 14.85mm and an overpinpoint of 26mm. The model also features metal 3-hole disc wagon wheels on metal axles, measuring 12.6mm in diameter.

The wagons are designed for easy conversion to P4 and EM gauges. The model includes extra fine factory-fitted detail plastic parts and sprung buffers for a realistic appearance. Individual lettering and codes from real wagons are also included to enhance authenticity.

The BR 21T Coal/MDO Mineral Wagon was a common sight on British Railways from the 1950s until 1988. The model is designed to represent the Late Crest period, with a total of 1,500 wagons built to this pattern. The wagons were used in block rakes and mixed with other coal wagons, such as the 16t minerals, 21t hoppers, and 24.5t hoppers.

The model features two doors on either side of the body and another at one end for end-tipping. The wagons were introduced in 1950 and remained in service for nearly four decades.
