Hornby BR Mk1 Corridor Second (W25923) is a OO gauge model kit, painted in a blue and grey livery. The finished coach measures 265 mm in length and carries the running number W25908. It is coloured blue, has a minimum radius of curve marked as Radius 2, and uses NEM/Tension‑lock couplings. The model represents a British Railways Mk1 Standard Corridor (SK) carriage with bogie wheel arrangement, and is supplied under manufacturer part number R4772.

The prototype was designed by British Railways, with R.A. Riddles as the Mechanical & Engineering Member of the Railway Executive, assisted by E.P. Gson and E.S. Cox. It was built between 1 January 1951 and 31 December 1963 by BR Workshops, Cravens and the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Company. The carriage type is a Mark 1 coach, originally 64 ft 6 in long (body) and 63 ft 5 in long (underframe), with bogie centres at 46 ft 6 in and a body width of 8 ft 8 in.

The model depicts the British Rail “Blue” TOPS period, the era in which the Mark 1 stock entered service on the Festival of Britain trains and remained in operation until being superseded by the Mark II design in 1964.
