Accurascale is releasing an OO scale model of the British Rail Class 92 locomotive, number 92043 'Debussy'. This model is a highly detailed representation of the real locomotive, built by Asea Brown Boveri and Brush Traction between 1993 and 1996. A total of 46 Class 92 locomotives were produced.

The model features a heavy die-cast alloy metal chassis for maximum tractive effort, and is provided with a 21-pin socket for DCC operation. It also has a five-pole motor with two flywheels, metal helical gearbox, and gearing arranged for accurate top speed. The locomotive is fully DCC ready with powerpack capacitor for uninterrupted power and features all-wheel drive and all-wheel pickup.

The model is highly detailed, with separately applied etched metal and high-fidelity plastic parts, including grab handles, steps, wipers, nameplates, and crests. It also features correct height mini-tension-lock couplers with NEM socket and a fully detailed bufferbeam. The lighting pack includes directional lighting, DC and DCC, lighting clusters with day and night-time modes, and red and white marker lights.

The model is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2022.
