Accurascale is set to release a new OO scale model of the British Rail Class 92 electric locomotive. The model, numbered 92003 and named 'Beethoven', will be finished in Railfreight 'Sector' triple grey livery.

The model is DCC ready, with a 21-pin socket and will feature a highly detailed and accurate representation of the real locomotive. It will have a heavy die-cast alloy metal chassis, providing maximum tractive effort, and will be equipped with a five-pole motor and two flywheels for high performance.

The model will also feature a metal helical gearbox, all wheel drive and all wheel pickup, and dual motorised pantographs with full DCC control. The lighting pack will include directional lighting, DC and DCC, as well as red and white marker lights and separately switched cab lighting.
