Accurascale 92010 – DCC sound fitted model representing a Caledonian Sleeper locomotive in a pristine livery. The model carries the running number 92010 and is supplied with DCC sound fitted equipment. It is an electric‑powered Class 92 locomotive built between 1993 and 1996, with a maximum speed of 90 mph. The manufacturer part number is ACC2193‑92010DCC and the model depicts the period of initial privatisation. Only 46 examples were produced and it is liveried for the Serco Caledonian Sleeper operator.

The locomotive is a highly detailed OO‑scale (1 : 76.2) model with a die‑cast alloy metal chassis. It is fitted with a five‑pole motor and twin flywheels, a metal helical gearbox and appropriate gearing to achieve the correct top speed. Power is supplied via a DCC‑ready 21‑pin MTC socket together with a PowerPack capacitor for uninterrupted operation. The model features all‑wheel drive and all‑wheel pickup, as well as correct height mini‑tension‑lock couplers with NEM socket and a fully detailed buffer beam.

Lighting is comprehensive, offering directional lighting, separate DC and DCC control, day and night lighting clusters, red and white marker lights and individually switched cab lighting that automatically switches off when the locomotive moves. Dual motorised pantographs are fully DCC controllable. The fitting includes RP25‑110 OO wheels, with provision for re‑gauging to P4 (18.83 mm) or EM (18 mm) gauge, two quality speakers with large sound capsules (on sound‑fitted models), fully sprung metal buffers and fine factory‑fitted pipework. The minimum curve radius is 438 mm (second radius set‑track).

Photographs show the decorated sample; the final product will receive additional corrections and finesse before delivery.
