Accurascale's OO scale model of the British Rail Class 92 locomotive, number 92032, is a highly detailed representation of the GBRf - GB Railfreight variant. The model is built to a high standard, with a heavy die-cast alloy metal chassis for maximum tractive effort.

The model is available in a GBRf - GB Railfreight livery and features a range of separately applied etched metal and high fidelity plastic detail parts, including grab handles, steps, wipers, nameplates, and crests. The model also includes a fully detailed bufferbeam and correct height mini-tension-lock couplers with an NEM socket.

The locomotive is powered by a five-pole motor with two flywheels, providing high performance traction. The metal helical gearbox ensures maximum performance and slow speed running, while the gearing is arranged for accurate top speed. The model is DCC ready, with a powerpack capacitor for uninterrupted power, and features all wheel drive and all wheel pickup.

The model also includes dual motorised pantographs with full DCC control, as well as a fully detailed lighting pack with directional lighting, DC and DCC, lighting clusters with day and night-time modes, and red and white marker lights. The cab lighting and details driver's console are separately switched and auto-off on movement.

The model features OO gauge wheels, which can be re-gauged to P4 (18.83mm) and EM (18mm) gauge. The fully sprung metal buffers and extra fine factory-fitted pipework add to the model's detail and realism. The minimum radius curve recommended for use with this model is 438mm, which is equivalent to a 2nd radius set-track.

The Accurascale model of the Class 92 locomotive is scheduled for release in Q3 2022.
