Heljan Class 07 (V2) model 2993 in British Rail blue with “Wasp” stripe livery, OO gauge, presented in pristine condition. The model is DCC ready with a 6‑pin socket and includes directional lighting. It runs on power picked up by all wheels and is fitted with NEM couplings and a tension‑lock system. The minimum curve radius is a 1‑inch radius and the maximum speed setting is 20 mph. Length of the model is 105 mm and the wheel arrangement is 0‑6‑0.
The prototype British Rail Class 07 diesel‑electric shunter was built by Ruston & Hornsby, Lincoln, with a total production run of 14 units. Constructed in 1962, the class served from 1962 to 1977, primarily for dock shunting around Southampton Docks, replacing the former “USA” 0‑6‑0T steam locomotives. After withdrawal in the late 1970s several examples were sold for industrial use elsewhere in the UK.
Key specifications: gauge OO, running number 2993, operator British Rail, colour British Rail blue (pre‑TOPS), working lights, sprung buffers, interior cab detailing, and a recommended RoS‑6D decoder for DCC fitting. Sound is not included due to space constraints.
