The model measures 105 mm in length, has a pristine finish and features all‑wheel power pickup, directional lighting and working cab lights. It is supplied DCC‑ready with a 6‑pin socket and is fitted with NEM couplings and sprung buffers.

The model represents the pre‑TOPS British Rail blue period.

Key specifications include a minimum radius curve of 371 mm (1st radius), a maximum speed of 20 mph and a diesel motive power. The manufacturer part number is 2907. For DCC fitting, Heljan recommends the RoS‑6D decoder. Sound is not included due to space limitations.
