Heljan’s Class 07 shunter model D2991 is supplied in OO gauge with a pristine finish. It represents the British Rail Class 07 locomotive built by Ruston & Hornsby in 1962, originally painted in British Rail green with the late crest and later livery for the TOPS era.
The model is DCC ready, featuring a 6‑pin socket and directional lighting. Power is collected from all wheels and it uses an NEM coupling. The minimum curve radius is 1st radius (371 mm). It runs on diesel motive power, has a maximum speed of 20 mph and a wheel arrangement of 0‑6‑0.
Key specifications include the running number D2991, manufacturer part number 2906 and a production run of 14 units. The prototype was built at Lincoln, withdrawn in May 1973 after ten years’ service and was originally ordered by British Railways.
