Heljan Class 26 BRCW Sulzer diesel 26024 is a 0 gauge model of a British Rail Class 26 locomotive. The kit is presented in the original British Rail blue livery with full yellow end panels and a West Highland Terrier depot emblem, and it is finished in pristine condition.
The model is DCC ready with an 8‑pin socket, features directional lighting, and picks up power from all wheels. It uses NEM couplings, has a minimum curve radius of 438 mm (2nd radius), and the wheel arrangement is Bo‑Bo.
The prototype was built by Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Company between 1958 and 1959, with a total production run of 47 locomotives. It carried the running number 26024, was operated by British Rail, and was capable of a maximum speed of 75 mph. The model represents the pre‑TOPS British Rail blue period.
