Accurascale's OO gauge model of the BR Mk1 57' Non-Gangway Coach in Rail Blue livery is part of the 'Transporting Britain' range. This model represents the coaches that were extensively used by British Railways in the 1950s, particularly in the Eastern, Western, Midland, and Scottish regions. The model features a highly-detailed, die-cast metal chassis with a plastic body, providing ideal running weight.

The model boasts accurate replica BREL BR1 bogies, with separate detailing and brake blocks aligned with wheels. The blackened RP25-110 Profile Wheels are set in blackened brass bearings for smooth running on 26mm axles. Other notable features include NEM standard coupling sockets, a kinematic close coupling system, and scale width wire handrails.

The model also features separately fitted door handles and lamp brackets, headstock pipes and cabling, and a fully detailed, die cast under-frame with vacuum cylinders, battery boxes, dynamo, and piping. The roof is easily removable, allowing for easy access to the interior for detailing and passenger fitting. The interior features fully accurate, replica layouts, complete with highly detailed seating, luggage racks, and framed artworks on the bulkheads.

The model includes a full lighting package, including magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting, all bogie pick-ups, and a 'stay-alive' super-capacitor bank for flicker-free lighting.
