Accurascale's OO gauge BR Mk1 57' Non-Gangway Coach is a highly detailed model of a classic British Railways coach. The model is part of the 'Transporting Britain' range and is based on coaches that operated in various regions of the UK, including the Eastern, Western, Midland and Scottish regions, as well as in and out of London's major stations.

Built to a scale of 1:76.2, the model features a die-cast metal chassis and plastic body for a realistic weight. The accurate BREL BR1 bogies are detailed with separate components, including brake blocks aligned with the wheels. The wheels are set into blackened brass bearings for smooth running on 26mm axles.

The model features a number of detailed components, including scale width wire handrails, water pipes and passenger communication gear, as well as separately fitted door handles and lamp brackets. The headstock pipes and cabling are also included. The under-frame is fully detailed, with vacuum cylinders, battery boxes, dynamo and piping all separately applied.

One of the key features of the model is the fully removable roof, which is magnetically attached and can be easily removed for access to the interior for detailing and passenger fitting. The interior of the coach is highly detailed, with accurate replica layouts, including seating and luggage racks, and is fully decorated. The bulkheads feature framed artworks, and the glazing is prism-free.

The model also features a full lighting package, including magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting and all bogie pick-ups. A 'stay-alive' super-capacitor bank is also included to prevent flicker-free lighting.
