The Accurascale BR Mk1 57' Non-Gangway Coach, model number E43043, is a OO gauge model representing a British Railways coach from the 1950s. The model is part of the 'Transporting Britain' range and features a livery of BR blue.

This model is designed to replicate the coaches that were used on commuter services in and out of London's Kings Cross, Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations, as well as services across other regions including the Eastern, Western, Midland and Scottish regions.

The model features highly-detailed die-cast metal chassis and plastic body, with a die-cast under-frame that includes vacuum cylinders, battery boxes, dynamo and piping, all of which are separately applied. The bogies are accurate replicas of BREL BR1 bogies, with separate detailing where applicable.

The model includes a full lighting package, including magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting, all bogie pick-ups and a 'stay-alive' super-capacitor bank for flicker-free lighting. Other features include scale width wire handrails, water pipes and passenger communication gear, separately fitted door handles and lamp brackets, headstock pipes and cabling, and a fully detailed interior with accurate seating, luggage racks, and interior bulkheads featuring framed artworks.

The model is designed to run on 16.5mm track, with a minimum radius curve of 2. The NEM standard coupling sockets and kinematic close coupling system ensure smooth running, while the blackened RP25-110 profile wheels and brass bearings provide a friction-free ride on 26mm axles.
