Accurascale's OO gauge model of the BR Mk1 57' Non-Gangway Coach in BR Rail Blue livery is part of the 'Transporting Britain' range. This model represents a coach built by British Railways between 1954 and 1956, and was used across various regions, including the Eastern, Western, Midland and Scottish regions, as well as in commuter traffic in and out of London.

The model features a die-cast metal chassis with a plastic body for a realistic running weight. The BREL BR1 bogies have been accurately replicated, with separate detailing and brake blocks aligned with the wheels. The model also features blackened RP25-110 Profile Wheels on blackened brass bearings for smooth running on 26mm axles.

Other features of the model include NEM standard coupling sockets with a kinematic close coupling system, scale width wire handrails, water pipes and passenger communication gear, separately fitted door handles and lamp brackets, and headstock pipes and cabling. The under-frame is fully detailed, with vacuum cylinders, battery boxes, dynamo and piping separately applied. The roof is easily removable for easy access to the interior for detailing and passenger fitting.

The interior of the model is fully accurate, with replica interior layouts, highly detailed seating, luggage racks, and framed artworks on the bulkheads. The model also features prism-free flush glazing and separately fitted roof vents in correct locations. The lighting package includes magnet 'wand' controlled interior lighting, all bogie pick-ups, and a 'stay-alive' super-capacitor bank for flicker-free lighting.
