Manufacturer description

The Land Rover Series IIA Short wheelbase Hard Top already features in Oxford's 1:43 scale series in this Royal Mail livery and we are pleased to add a newly tooled version to the 1:76 scale range with exactly the same decoration as its larger counterpart. Registered UDW 311J from 1970/71, our little van, decorated in the signature Post office red, was employed here in Wales and features the bi-lingual Post Brenhinol/Royal Mail lettering in white/gold on the sides alongside the Royal Cipher

Oxford Diecast Land Rover Series IIA SWB Hard Top – Royal Mail (Brehinol)

This 1:76 scale die‑cast model reproduces a Land Rover Series IIA short‑wheel‑base hard‑top van painted in the Royal Mail livery. The finish is described as pristine and the piece carries the manufacturer part number 76LR2AS001. It represents the early British Railways crest period and mirrors the decoration used on the larger 1:43 scale version.

The van is modelled on a vehicle registered UDW 311J from the 1970/71 season, which operated in Wales. The bodywork is finished in the standard Post Office red and bears the bilingual “Post Brehinol/Royal Mail” lettering in white and gold, together with the Royal Cipher, on the sides.

Packed dimensions are 8.4 cm × 5.4 cm × 4.8 cm (L × W × H). When unpacked the model measures 4.6 cm × 2.2 cm × 2.5 cm (L × W × H).
