Manufacturer description

In real life, one of the Austin Seven RN variants came in the shape of a van, essentially a converted RN saloon but an invaluable and popular small commercial vehicle in its time. A two-seater, the rear section was stripped out to take whatever deliveries were the order of the day. The front was very basic and the two bucket seats look a bit uncomfortable although they were undoubtedly leather. Shown her in the distinctive LMS livery.Decorated in maroon with black roof, wings, spoked wheels and running board, our little van is employed in the Advertising and Publicity Services section, registered JH 5727. Rear square windows are printed on each side of the door, whilst the interior is black with maroon dashboard and interior door panels. The door trim is realistically finished in brown. Perhaps it is delivering some of those fantastic railway posters of yesterday, which are also vey collectable today!
