Accurascale Class 55 ‘Tulyar’ (locomotive number 015) is offered in a limited‑edition “Rails of Sheffield” batch. The model represents the 1980s British Rail blue livery with the distinctive white cab of the Finsbury Park allocation and is supplied as DCC ready with a 21‑pin interface.

The kit includes a range of optional details such as different headcode panels, windscreen wiper arrangements, steam‑heat boiler ports, cab‑side windows, sandbox hatches, cab air vents, horn positions and both cast and fabricated bogies. High‑intensity and WIPAC lights are fully functional, replicating the lighting seen on privatisation‑era main‑line operations.

Technical specifications feature separately applied metal detail parts (grab handles, steps, wipers etc.), correctly positioned mini‑tension‑lock couplers with NEM sockets and a fully detailed buffer beam. The traction system uses a five‑pole motor with two flywheels and a metal helical gearbox, allowing a scale top speed of 100 mph. RP25‑110 OO wheels are fitted with provisions for re‑gauging to P4 and EM gauge, and the model has fully sprung metal buffers and extra‑fine factory‑fitted pipework. The minimum curve radius is 438 mm (second radius set‑track).
