Accurascale Class 55 015 Deltic ‘Tulyar’ in British Rail blue livery, fitted with the distinctive white cab of the Finsbury Park era (Era 7). This limited‑edition model forms part of the “Rails of Sheffield” range and carries the manufacturer part number CL55 (55015) SOUND. It is supplied with factory‑fitted DCC sound using the ESU LokSound 5 chip and two high‑quality speakers with large sound capsules.

The locomotive includes a full complement of realistic details: separate metal grab handles, steps and wipers; correctly positioned headcode panels, windscreen wipers and cab air vents; a variety of sandbox hatch and horn arrangements; and cast or fabricated bogies. Lighting is fully functional, with high‑intensity main‑line lights, directional DC and DCC lights, separate cab illumination and driver’s console lighting that switches off when the locomotive moves. The RP25‑110 OO wheels are provided with the option to re‑gauge to P4 or EM gauge.

Technical specifications are designed for high performance. The drive uses a five‑pole motor with two flywheels, a metal helical gearbox and gearing that allows a scale top speed of 100 mph. Couplers are mini‑tension‑lock type with NEM sockets at the correct height, and the buffer beam is fully detailed. The model is DCC ready with a 21‑pin interface, features fully sprung metal buffers, extra‑fine factory‑fitted pipework and a minimum curve radius of 438 mm (second radius set‑track).
