The Rapido BR 15xx No.1504 is a model of a British Railways 0-6-0PT pannier tank locomotive. It is one of a limited production run of ten models built to represent the original 1500 class locomotives.
The model features a die-cast metal construction, a high-quality motor and mechanism, and a Next18 decoder socket to enable DCC operation. It is finished in unlined black livery with the late crest emblem, as seen on locomotives in service during the 1950s.
The model includes a number of separately fitted details, such as buffers and a NEM coupler, and features sprung buffers for a more realistic appearance. The model is designed to represent the locomotive as it would have looked during the late British Railways era, with a period represented of 1949 to 1963.
