The Rapido BR 15xx model, No.1505, is a OO gauge representation of a Great Western Railway 1500 class 0-6-0PT pannier tank locomotive. Built in August 1949, this model is one of only ten produced. It features a lined black livery with the early British Railways crest.

The model is built from die-cast metal and features a high-quality motor and mechanism, making it suitable for DCC operation. It also has a Next18 decoder socket, allowing for easy installation of a digital command control system. The model includes a range of separately fitted details, such as buffers, which are sprung to provide a realistic appearance.
