Heljan Class 15 locomotive model D8233, finished in British Railways green with small yellow panels, is offered as a limited edition of 1,000 units. The model reproduces the early‑crest livery of the original British Rail Class 15 built between 1957 and 1961, of which 44 were produced. It represents locomotive number D8233, a Bo‑Bo diesel that could reach 60 mph and operated on a minimum 1st‑radius curve of 371 mm.

The model is gauge OO, with a pristine finish and all‑wheel power pickup. It features a DCC‑ready 8‑pin socket, NEM/Tension‑lock couplings and is supplied with the manufacturer part number 1503. Production was undertaken by British Thomson Houston at the Yorkshire Engine Company (Batch 1) and Clayton Equipment Co (Batch 2).
